Tech Green serves as Georgia Tech’s Campus Quad and is the gathering spot for the majority of the GT Community. This Outdoor Space commonly hosts graduation ceremonies, festivals, fairs, exhibits and displays, receptions and parties, athletic events, luncheons, outreach events, games, concerts and performances, races and walks, camp activities, and campus events. Popular events held include Sting Break, Israel Fest, Week of Welcome, Diwali, SCPC Homecoming Carnival, annual Yoga Challenge, Silent Disco, Hillel Sew into Spring, ChiPsi Pet Palooza, Campus Obstacle Course, Appreciation for Black Art, Hillel Freshman House Decorating, Taste of Latin America, GTIA Night Market, GTBAO Alumni Students & Family Event, Circle of Sisterhood Cornhole Tournament, Tour of Asia, and more.
Please note that these capacities vary based on special requests, including staging and other equipment. Our Event Services Team is happy to discuss setups other than what is described here.
There are no fees associated with reserving outdoor event spaces. Please note that the spaces are provided 'as-is.' Any additional equipment or staging requirements may incur fees, which are determined by the respective department or vendor providing the services.

What are the Booking Rules in GT Events?
Outdoor space reservations can be made up to 1 year in advance.
Reservation requests must be made at least 3 weeks prior to the event date.

Registered Student Organizations and GT Departments can find this space in the "Outdoor Event Space" template.
In accordance with the University System of Georgia's Freedom of Expression Policy and Georgia Tech's provisions on freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and right to peaceful assembly policy, as well as the Campus Procedures for the Use of Facilities & Spaces, this event space is considered a restricted outdoor area and requires a reservation for access and use.
Freedom of Expression requests can be submitted by completing the Freedom of Expression Intake Form.
